Sounds like its running on dc. currant reverse the power wires to the device it should run the other way if it is DC.
SOURCE: Temperature control
I have a danby mini fridge and freezer and noticed the same problem. The temperature dial has NO NUMBERS ON IT! it just has a strip that goes from light to dark blue. That's it. I looked in the manual and it doesn't say anywhere which way is colder...it makes sense that the darker the blue the colder the temperature but why keep us guessing?

When installing new belt the belt comes off the right side of the drum and through the idler and around the motor shaft, then up the left side
SOURCE: Impulse sprinklers stick after cloclwise rotation; no return
i wouldbet it is a pressure related problem , can you isolate them so you are only running 1 at atime? at least reduce the number of sprinklers running at the same time just to test them, drop the number by1or2 and i`m sure your problem will be fixed youdoit
SOURCE: Fan won't reverse to counter clockwise
I had a hampton bay fan that absolutely did not have a revers switch on the fan anywhere! MOST fans bought today will reverse. I was not about to give up. I scoured the net for an answer and could not find anything to help. I did however find a comment somewhere that said it could be done internally. After about six months I decided to search again (now). Nothing... so I started playing with the remote and the wall switch and Shazaam! I figured it out on my hampton bay fan. Turn the fan on high... Turn the wall switch off.... wait until the fan is pretty slow in rotation... hold the HI button on the remote.... Turn the switch back on. IT Worked for me! Hope this helps someone. SparqMark

One of two things has happened. I'm assuming you only get hot water when you open the valve and that this is for a single handle control shower fixture. If so either this is the wrong valve for your shower control or it is installed backwards. Sometimes the valve can be installed at either 180 degree angles. See if it can be installed any other way. If so this may solve the problem.
