Certainly contact the supplier or manufacturer and ask if they have a repair service or supply replacement component parts - I think it is very unlikely as the luggage isn't of premium, exclusive or designer category and is unlikely to be manufactured locally. If spare parts are available it is likely they are disproportionately expensive.

In the absence of the above it would be worth asking at your local saddler, heel bar or the sort of baby shop that repair prams and baby buggies.

SOURCE: Broken handle

Ooo, an airline damaged my handle of my Maclaren XT last year. If you go to your local baby shop and ask if they act as Maclaren agents, they can order you 2 new handles, here in Australia they quoted my $39. I had to get my husbands work to pop the existing rivits and then Maclaren supplied screws to attach the new handles sent.

Hope this helps.

You can carry it as long as it is checked luggage. If you would like to carry it on you will need to have it scanned and turned off.

Good Luck

One of 2 wheels on one corner of my Dejuno luggage was broken in transit on airline baggage system.

Dejuno appears to have a 5 year warranty. Sadly, you would appear to have to pay shipping charges to send it for repair. While there are generic replacement wheel sets sold on the web, figuring out whether such would work for you certainly would seem an imaginative exercise. There are YouTube luggage wheel repair guides but finding one that applies you your specific luggage is challenging. You might contact Dejuno to check your alternatives. Alas, when the damage was detected at the airport, that is when a report ought to be made at the baggage claim office. https://www.peopleclerk.com/post/airline-damaged-luggage

Can I get a $159.00 refund?

Of course you can.

But this has absolutely nothing to do with FIXYA dot com!!

It would depends on the circumstances of it breaking? Did you have another case of bag on top of it and bounce it down some stairs? That is how mine broke. If the airport luggage handlers broke it, the airline will repair or compensate.

I worked at Toronto Pearson for 9 years.

How do I replace my wheels on my Samantha brown luggage?

If instructions aren't provided either with the wheels or by customer support, replacement must be a fairly intuitive process that probably entails little more than levering off retaining clips. If you don't feel confident perhaps you have a neighbour who is handy with home repairs...
