Your camera manual will tell if transfer from internal memory to card is possible. Some do some do not. Another USB cord should not be very expensive

SOURCE: SONY DCS T1 FORMAT ERROR C:13:01

Hi.. I think you have solved the problem yourself... replace the adapter with a memory stick... You have eliminated the micro sd card as bad... now try a new known good memory stick..

Thanks

SOURCE: need pictures off memory card

More than likely this is not a memory stick problem, but a computer problem. Have you used this port before for other uses? sometime a port will get sloppy( for lack of a better word) and you may have to tilt or hold the card with your hand, so that the computer will pick it up. Try that.
Hooe it helps.

SOURCE: cannot copy photos from internal memory to SD Card

Put your card in and scroll down. Even when it looks like you're at the bottom scroll more. You'll see copy. Go to the pic that says in with an arrow to an sdcard. select and there you go. It took me ages to find it but it's there.

You can purchase a Targus card reader from Walmart which will plug into a USB connector on your computer. Directions on it's usage are included with the card reader. The package says it is compatible with SDHC SD/MMC, XD, Memory Stick, Pro Duo, and Magic Gate.I ran into a problem with the Targus TGR-CRD25 when trying to read an XD or SD memory card 1GB or bigger. Targus fixed it with a note on their web site:
To operate plug card reader into the USB port, go into "My Computer", click "Removeable disk drive", insert your memory card into the card slot and upload your data. Please remove your memory card before disconnecting the card reader.

Can I import camera pics to a Dobly Home Theater laptop, by Acer?

First a nitpick: your memory card is Memory Stick Pro Duo, it's not an SD card. Secure Digital is one specific type of memory card, distinct from xD, CF, Memory Sticks, and other memory card types.

Okay, not that I've got that off my chest, yes you can import pics to your laptop. Just connect a card reader to the USB port and then put your Memory Stick into the reader. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files.

Card readers should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store. One important point to remember is to make sure you get a card reader that can read Memory Stick Pro Duos. If you get, for example, an SD card reader, it won't do you any good.

My Sony memory stick pro duo magic gate mark 2 is not shows images on pc but in my camera, but the photos are visible on Sony cybershot camera

Some Sony Cybershot camera's have a small amount of memory built into the camera. Double check that the camera is set to put the pictures onto the memory stick.
If the camera is set up correctly, the memory stick may not be formatted correctly for your computer. If at all possible, connect the camera to your computer directly with the USB cable that should have come with it.
