How long does the Woods 50015 backup battery last?

If your Woods 50015 battery is not holding a charge even after being plugged in for 30 minutes, it's possible that the battery is faulty and may need to be replaced. Leaving it plugged in for a longer period may not necessarily solve the problem if the battery is not holding a charge at all.

The 50015 has a countdown feature.
Manual says you get to the correct mode, then press the clock button, then press and hold RCL-CD for 3-5 seconds ... then CD will flash in lower left corner.
If timer does not perform this function, then try the reset button ... push and hold reset for 10 seconds, then reprogram ... if functions are not restored, then timer might be defective.
