At first my Sony Cyber-shot DSC- W55 would not turn on. The lens would go in and out and then it would say “turn camera off and on again”. I can get it to turn on when I tap the camera on my palm. The problem is that now it is on, but all the pictures I take are blurry. When looking at the screen before I take the picture, the camera is not focusing so I get the blurred image that is on the screen. Any ideas?

The focus doesn't move as it should - it was stuck before you tapped it. Could be sand or something in it. I'm afraid you will have to give it away for a repair.
