the problem here is the machine is not emptying when its supposed to, you will find it is stopping at the rinse cycles. there is a sump underneath the machine that needs to be emptied. From my experiences, 9 out of 10 hotpoints that i would of repaired with the same problem as you are having is usualy caused by using the color catcher sheets, they are a disaster.

You could have a blockage in the sump filter or there may be
a foreign object in the pump housing stopping it from working, there may be a
faulty or lose wiring connection on the pump. Is the tub still full of water? If
yes then try lowering the outlet hose into a bowl or bucket and see if any
water comes out, if yes the system is clear and it would be pump related, if no
then you have a blockage somewhere.
