I have an lg tv model# 50ln5400-ua there is sound but no picture all black screen... What could be the problem and can i fix it

is defective LED back lights ASSY. You have to open the display panel & replace the burned LED strips.

You have to open the display panel to find the bad one & replace it. The part number usually is printed on the strips, read 6916L-11XXA, you may purchase it from EBay.

if you have the number from the board you want to replace try e-bay --circuit boards for your tv and see what comes up
