Corroded battery terminal
The best thing to do, is remove the old terminal and replace it with a new one. The corrosion, will go on, even after you think you removed it complete. But you should have the shills of a repair engineer. Second best thing, is to remove the corrosion as best as you can, and put aa little contact oil on the contacts. Make sure every time you recharge the battery, you check for corrosion and try to remove it.
Remove with a dry cloth, or if you have contact oil (for electronic purposes) us a little oil, but make sure the oil is removed after you removed the corrosion.
