The lamp light (gold not red) is still on after replacing the lamp. We have taken it out and replaced it and also have reset the TV several times, but light continues to stay on.
Re: The lamp light is still on after replacing the
Plug the TV out of the wall. Wait. Plug it back in. Does it still stay on? If not, there is somethign wrong with your remote, or the TV circutiry is not shutting off. Try controlling the on/off via manually pushing the power button on the tv (both on and off).

Hello
if replacement lamp has done, was the lamp timer reset after replacement? and if the lamp is original, there is either a bad lamp or a cooling problem. Good luck
The lamps are not in correctly. When the old lamps are taken out, it reveals two very small lever type switches that have to be down for the lamps to connect and for the projector to recognise the lamps. These switches can be seen in the section in between where the lamps go. They are about 4mm. Hope this helps. It happened to me.
red light blinks in 5 times then pause and then repeats. It is the lamp error. " Lamp Driver Defect"
When the "LAMP-PORT" (pin 95) is low, the lamp is not turned on. If the "LAMP-HV-DET"(pin 96) is low at the same time, it is classified as no high voltage of the lamp driver. I'm guessing it needs a Lamp driver which I think is on the C Board, which is part of the "Optics Unit Block Assy. The C Board cannot be orderd separately, and Optics Unit Blocks are not cheap. Good luck
