SOURCE: Kenmore HE4t Won't continue drain cycle Code F6 & beeping

Take off the bottom panel (unplug unit first!) and unscrew the cap on the drain cylinder, be sure to have plenty of towels to soak up the water! pull out the center piece and check out all the treasures stored inside. Be sure to use a flashlight and lift up the black hose behind it to get any leftovers in the hose. I just did it today and could not believe how much stuff was in there...coins. pens, buttons, lost of wet lint had it clogged. The clothes finally don't smell!

SOURCE: THE F1 CODE COMES UP WHEN THE WASHER FIRST STARTS.

It is either a bad control or a broken wire.

SOURCE: stops during cycle

Hi,
i know this thread is old news now, but i came across as i am having the same problem. Of course the permanent solution is to replace the board, except the problem with that is, GE has stopped making them four years ago, plus, the cost of the part is about $316, which is over half the cost of the whole machine!
Anyway, the cause of my issue with the washer just shutting down during mid cycle, i believe was caused by overheating of the control panel. It seems the genius' at GE designed this thing to work under complete submerged conditions. The entire board is encased in some sort of latex rubber, with exception to the heatsink and transformer, and then enclosed in a non vented space. I am surprised the board hadn't failed sooner. So when I took the thing apart and inspected it, i found that both the transformer and heatsink were extremely hot. To vent the heat out of the control compartment, I just simply drilled some hole in the panel above where these two components were on the board. Put it back together, plugged it in, and voila! i have been successfully doing laundry again for 2 days without the washer stopping in mid cycle.
Hope this has helped.

Won t stop beeping

if it's just continuously beeping, then you may have a shorted control board. This isn't an error code, so if it keeps beeping, you may need to replace the control board itself.

When tub drains beeps twice and won't continue

Hi - Does the drain pump make a humming noise as well? If so, you possibly have a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Try setting the cycle to spin only and verify if what pump out. Supposing that it does not, I would suggest contacting a professional to diagnose either the pump or timer.

Washer stops during rinse cycle and beeps at me

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Lid Switch Assembly If the washer stops mid cycle the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design
Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer stops mid cycle the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.
Water Inlet Valve If the washer stops mid cycle the water inlet valve cold water side may have failed. Most washers have a cold water rinse and so if they can't fill with cold water they just sit indefinitely waiting for the cold water to enter. If there is cold water to the water inlet valve and the cold water works in other parts of the cycle - or to make warm water - the valve is not the problem.

Main Control Board If the washer stops mid-cycle the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other causes first such as the lid or door switch and other components.

Timer If the washer stops mid cycle the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer.
