My PS3 have a error code 8002f334 when i open it de dawnlod for 4.46 version stop to 83% what i CAN do for to repar it

I've seen this error code going around for the older PS3's. From what I can gather, it's a HDD issue that can't be cured easily. Here are the steps to take that I found, that seem to work for all PS3 systems.

  • take out the hard drive
  • connect hard drive to pc (running windows 7 64bit, but any windows os should work without other software)
  • open up disk management - in win7 it asked me to make a master boot record, so I did.
  • format in NTSF - that's right, NTSF - don't use quick format
  • shut down pc, take out hd, take usb drive too
  • put hd back in ps3, put usb stick in ps3
  • boot ps3
  • a screen will pop-up saying the hard disk have to be formatted
  • hold start + Select for 5 sec.
  • After formatting the system will restart and the update will start installing
  • configure your ps3 setup - done
  • Remember to get the latest firmware from SONY onto the USB drive.

    NTSF? The PS3 should not even recognize that since it requires a FAT32 drive. You've had success with NTSF?

It is because you don't have the blu-ray drive connected that is making this fail. Hook it up again then try to update. If it doesn't update that way try downloading from Sony's site to a USB drive and update that way. If the laser is bad on the drive you may just want to get Sony to repair/ replace it, even if out of warranty as that is still cheaper than buying a new system.
If you cannot get to any menu to tell ps3 where it is to download it.
Then go to System Update but just tell the PS3 to go for an external device instead of looking for it over the internet.

Ese error significa que su PS3 no se esta comunicando bien con su router or modem, trate de desconnectar su router/modem de su ps3, despues pagar su consola ps3 y espere 30 min. vuelva a prender su router/modem primero y despues su ps3. haga eso varia veces hasta que su ps3 accepte le connexion.

Like the 360, the PS3 also has problems.  This problem is known as the SoD (spin of death). In this the lens of your PS3 stops working. Sony is the best one that can help for this kind of error. Best to stick with them, or if your retailer has an exchange policy, ask for a new PS3. But my local dealer fixes this up for 125$. 
  • IMPORTANT - DO NOT OPEN YOUR CONSOLE YOURSELF AS THE WARRANTY THAT SONY PROVIDES WILL THUS BE VOID!!!
