I used https://www.google.com because I don't live in the continent of Africa. I, like many FIXYA unpaid volunteers, attempt to answer questions using the internet, and typing in responses. I do not know many volunteers who live near you in South Africa.
Go to their website and email them, www.brother-usa.com and they should be able to tell you. Or better yet, let you order right through them, The phone number is 1-877-276-8437 but I don't know if it will work for you there. Look under the contact information on top of the website. Good luck
no, it will definately run fine in Australia.Electricity in South Africa is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second which is the same as Australia. The voltage in Aus and SA will be somewhere between 220/240v most of the time.
Afsew in South Africa might be able to help. They are organising a looper for me. Their contact number is 00 27 21 465 1323, [email protected]. They also have a website if you type Afsew on the address bar it comes up. I have found them to be very helpful and as the Rand is 16 to the pound at the moment the exchange rate is in our favour.
