will it restart immediately or do you have to wait for awhile? if it restarts then check the fuel flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor. if it doesn't and you have to wait then check the ignition module. as the unit gets hot the module heats it stops working and as it cools off it works until it heats up again
The on/off switch is stuck in the "locked on" position or there is a short at the switch. In either case this presents a real hazard and should be repaired by a qualified repair tech. immediately
Try better quality gas. I had the same problem.
Ethanol too high in lower grade gas. Buy better grade or ethanol free.
Mine works fine with better gas.
