First, press the door class to go up. Then remove the inner door wall by unscrewing the door handle and other screws you can find. Put a flat screwdriver around the door Wall to lever out the plastic fittings. Pull the door wall down and you now can see the door handle from the inside where you will find two screws that hold the handle. Unscrew the handle from the inside of the door from the two screws and remove the handle from its fitting and then replace the new handle.

In order to put your new door handle on your vehicle you have to take the inner panel off, then disconnect the screws and pins to replace. Be sure to put everything back the way it was so you don't get any rattles.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To change the outside door handle, you must open the door and roll up the window. ( Not necessarily in that order.)
Then you must remove the door panel, being very careful not to break or lose the several plastic and/or metal clips that hold it on.
Normally, there may also be a few screws as well.
After that, remove the plastic water cover that covers the sheet metal of the door.
Keep this to install later, you will need some good tape to put it back on.
Find some sockets and wrenches that will remove the handle nuts from the inside of the door through holes you can see.
Most of the handles have wire-like rods that are have plastic tips that can come apart for removal of the handle or latch.
Be sure not to break these, as then the handles will no longer work.

There is a switch to close and supply power when door is closed. Your kit is not closing the switch when door is closed! Go over all.

inside door panel has to come off, then there are usually 1 rod on the handle pull, and one rod on the lock.. these pop off the rod and stay on the hanldle body. there should be @ 3 or 4 nuts on the back side of the handle. thease removed and the old handle shouold pop out.. dont force it... new handle in... .hand snug the nuts, put op rods back in proper holes, snap in clips... TEST BEFORE YOU PUT THE DOOR PANEL BACK ON...... saves lots of time if you happen to put the rods in wrong.

you may need a new door,,or use the top door just up-end it and put it on the bottom?

You can order new "cap handles" (the plastic parts that join the aluminum handle to the door for 3.99 each plus 8.99 shipping and handling at the Sears Parts Direct Website. The part number is DE67-00222C. When you have the parts in hand, open the microwave oven door. On the inside surface of the door their is a black plastic frame around the door that pops off easily (gently use a screw driver to pry up the door frame) so that you can have access to the screws that attach the end caps to the door. You will need to hold the remant of the cap handle (the part that is probably broken off even with the glass surface on the outside side of the door) still while you unscrew the screws. Once the screws and broken remnant of the handle caps are out, you are ready to put new handle caps on the handle, then put the handle with the new handle caps on the door. By the way, Samsung was absolutely NO help with this. The agent I chatted with denied that their were any reports of the handles breaking off, so I had to cut and past the postings about the door handle breaking off ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE under "Community Q and A" into the chat box -- still the agent did not acknowldege the existance of these reports...or the possibility of a poor design. I asked for them to send me a couple of the $4 parts as a good will gesture....got nothing but lofty words about Samsung commitment etc. and only a authorized technition blah blah, no action. All you need is a strong thumbnail, a phillips head screw driver, new handle caps.

Go to the junkyard and get a new door and put it on. I wouldn't go through the trouble of taking the door apart to put on a new handle when you can probably get a whole new door for around the same price :)

take door panel off but make sure window is up first. then unclip the rods that are connected to the handle. then unscrew the 2 bolts that are holding the door handle in. then take the handle out and put the new one in and put it back together.

or just go down and get a repair manual at your local auto parts store for less then 20 dollars

Its very easy to do, did mine today, pull the door panel off, 3 screws 2 on each corner of the bottom of the door and one in the grab handle tray. Look at the door handle there will be a small plastic circle that pops off remove plastic piece and remove screw, lift door panle upwards and off. 3 screws for the new door handle remove old one unclip door lock and unclip door handle install new one same way you took the old one off.

Part is $26.00 at kia, takes 15 minutes to repair!
