Frigidaire FAHE4044MW washer lid will not stay open

There are springs and bumpers/shocks in the machine that hold the tub. When they break or come loose, the tub wobbles.

F8 is a malfunction of the control board. you have to call a repairman to let him replace or fix issue. Good luck.

You should contact the company. My washer had a part recalled, which was causing it to throw error codes our all the time. Luckily it was still within the warranty so a replacement part was sent right away. Good luck
