On off switch on generator not working

I have a silverline 2.2KVA generator and at the moment I do not have a working switch for the geny so when running it will not switch off. There are no wires going into the switch at the moment and there is no problem with starting it either. Anybody have a wiring diagram? Or know where the wires should come from/and go to the switch? Pictures would be fantastic. Many thanks. Ash

Thanks, when we took it apart we could see an earthing wire to the case so I think your right just a matter of which wire goes to which terminal. Then we're sorted!

If the unit is starting with no wires to/from the switch, then likely the switch is just supposed to ground the spark in order to stop the engine.

Silverline polisher not working

You have to test it with a meter or a test light. It might be the cord. If it is either one you can replace it.

This is the close limit sensor so yes it should work. They have them for $2.40 right now from an Amazon vendor - http://www.amazon.com/Genie-Excelerator-Close-Switch-33950S/dp/B00283OBXY/ref=?ie=UTF8&m=A1CTO3U79X1RZ3

You can also buy replacement sensors as a 10 pack in case you end up needing more from here -

I have new Genie 9-12 remote for garage door opener and I do not know my old security code

The code for the opener is on a dip switch set under the light bulb lens on the opener unit. Remove the lens and the switch set is usually located on the left as you look at it. It's either a 9 or 12 switch set. Match the numbered switches on both the remote and the receiver, and it should work! Oh, and make sure the battery is fresh.

The problem is that the logic board has gone bad. If you don't have a logic board 900 joules or higher on these units get some. You can get a replacement board at genie.com. Thanks BB

You don't say which model you have, however, MOST Genie systems use the switches as temporary contacts. By twisting them together, the computer board is reading it as a short. You need to replace the switch and route the wires properly.
