When a quartz watch is no longer actuate with a good battery that means the movement needs a service (typically it's a bad circuit somewhere on the movement). It's fairly simple actually even I can do it and I'm not a horologist. Typically the service runs between $50-$100. Being that this may exceed the watches retail cost I would suggest concerning getting a new watch.

My dango watch second hand stops some time

If your Dango watch's second hand stops intermittently, there are a few things that could be causing the issue. Here are some possible reasons and solutions:

1. Low Battery: If the battery in your watch is running low, it could cause the second hand to stop. You may need to replace the battery in your watch. Check your watch's manual or take it to a watch repair shop to have the battery replaced.
2. Dirt or Debris: Dirt or debris can get inside your watch and cause the gears to stop moving properly. If this is the case, you may need to have your watch cleaned and serviced by a professional watch repair person.
3. Loose Second Hand: If the second hand on your watch is loose, it could cause it to stop intermittently. A loose second hand can be caused by a damaged pinion or cannon pinion. You may need to take your watch to a professional watch repair person to have it fixed.
4. Magnetic Interference: Magnetic fields can interfere with the movement of the gears inside a watch, causing it to stop or run erratically. If you have been around strong magnets or electronic devices, it could be causing the issue. Try moving your watch away from these devices to see if that helps.
5. Mechanical Issue: There may be a mechanical issue with your watch's movement that is causing the second hand to stop. This can be caused by a worn out gear or other component. You may need to take your watch to a professional watch repair person to have it fixed.

My skagen wrist watch has stopped .why?It has lifetime warranty

Your watch has lifetime warranty - not the battery. Battery should be replaced as soon as it goes flat. Do not leave flat battery in watch - it may leak and destroy the movement. Pop in your nearest watch repair shop and ask to replace battery. Rate me please.

Watch has stopped and will not wind itself up, even though it is a self winding watch (automatic)

How old is your watch?

Most makers recommend that they are serviced every 2-3 years.

If yours hasn't been touched for a long time, then cleaning by your local watch shop may help.

If it is relatively new, then a trip to the manufacturer's web site to find your nearest service agent is needed.

Battery replacement - Freestyle shark watch

I believe a local watch repairer will replace the battery for around 5$ that should include the battery, depends on the person.

Generally the battery is replaced by opening the back cover of the watch, in some cases special tools might be required.

Watch stops now and then, sometimes has moisture inside, needs battery and re-sealing. Can yo do this? Phil

We can not do physical watch repairs. Only advise can be given. You have to find your local watch repair shop and ask for help. You can find your local watch repair shop on internet - just type in your browser Watch repairs in California, USA (or wherever you live) and you will come up with plenty of them. You do not need any particular repair shop - go to your nearest and ask for help.

Rate me, plz.

Mens Relic watch stopped working after battry change

I suggest that your watch has an oxidized contacts and electricity can not reach the movement.
Do as folloes:
Take out the batttery,
Clean (scrape) all battery related contacts till they are shiny (use hardened steel needle for that),
Use the dust blower to get rid off any tiny dust and dirt particles after cleaning,
Refit the battery back.
Now your watch should work again.
If all written above do not help, then there is a problem with your watch and you will need the help of the watchmaker.
Do not forget to rate, please.

Why is my ironman draining my battery?

Over time the circuitry in a watch can become worn and corroded.  This corrosion is usually barely noticeable.  More often, you won't be able to see much damage at all.  Nonetheless, the circuit is worn and is giving too much resistance to the battery.  This is cause the battery to pump too much voltage into the circuit just to run the watch.  This is draining your watch very quickly.  This is more common as the watch gets older.
