Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30

I typed Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 manual into google and up came a pdf i downloaded it and find it hard to follow too. Perhaps change to S (shutter priority) then see what options come up

1. Set the mode dial to P
2. Press the menu/set button
3. Select the setup option
4. Scroll through the setup listings until you get to 'reset'
5. Select the reset option to reset your camera.

Sounds like you have the "burst mode" engaged.

There are no SD memory cards 4GB or larger because the Secure Digital standard limits card capacities to 2GB. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work in the DMC-FZ30. You will need to stay with SD cards 2GB and smaller.

Just go into the menu and find "reset".

You can usually just "Google", "manual for Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30" and the results should offer you a manual in .pdf format for viewing, or, downloading.

I think you can fix it by yourself with a opening tool.
