This clicking of the timer tells you there is a fault somewhere, this could be anything, you have to check things i would do them in this order check the heater element, most common fault second the pump but you said that works then check the motor that drives the drum belt look at the motor control board for any signs of burning etc, this could indicate a motor fault you have not given much info, but with a fault like this thats all you can say, i have given you a brief starting point what and where to look, so happy hunting if i can be of further help get back to me

Kenmore Heavy Duty Series 70 washing machine gets stuck in cycle.

Either your timing motor has broken or the gears that it drives are stripped. The timing motor is easy to replace but if the gears are stripped you will need a whole new dial assembly.

Washing machine will not drain

Please fill your washer with a very small amount of water, turn it to spin and tilt it back. You should be able to see the belt on the bottom turning your pump. I ask you to verify this because imporper belt tension or a bad thrust bearing can keep it from turning improperly. If it turns freely on this test, Then you have something plugged up. Drain the water out. Next unhook the hose that goes between the tub and the pump at the tub side. You can get sock or other small articals of clothing in there that will prevent draining. If that is clear. It is likely you have had another coin go through your hose that goes between the pump and the wall. They can get quite a ways in there and maytag hoses get smaller right before they end. If you have a coin in this area you will need to work it all of the way back to the pump side of the hose.

Indesit w93 washing machine fills with water but doesn't start washing

Hi there. I have an old model, the indesit WM12. Never counted the flashing light (yours was 10) but my dial started clicking constantly at the drain part. I called Idesit and they told me it was a blockage in the filter.
The filter they speak of it located, on mine, at the front of the machine at the very bottom on the right. It is a black dial about 3 - 4 inches in diameter. Unscrew that anti-clockwise (a real pain because so much water comes out. My wife and I unscrewed it, filled a baking tray with water, screwed it back up, emptied / substituted tray then same all over again - until empty. Though putting it on drain again and again helped at same time). When I pulled out the filter found a 'colour catcher' sheet in it. We used them first time ever the other day. Removed that, gave filter a wee clean and, hey presto, all is working again. Hope that helps. Jim

these machines are a problem! the dial clicking round can be a component fault - ie pump etc - or a module fault. from what you describe, fault could be with the pump. an easy way to check is to power the pump up independently and see if drain works ok. (i assume you have checked the filter) after that, check continuity in the heater as well. if both of these are ok, you are faced with a module fault

Dial clicks round

Open the rear panel and look for a broken or worn belt. If this is the problem you can replace it easily. Good luck !
