Our Bosch Logixx 7 W1S24140GB integrated washing machine would not open at the end of a cycle. I found the door release and removed the clothes, we've drained the tub and cleaned the debris trap. After turning off at the mains overnight (a suggestion from Bosch) to reset the motherboard, we still get the same flashing lights and the door locks itself again. Lights are 'start/pause', '400', 'spin' and 'end' if that helps? Any suggestions as to what the error might be are very welcome! Thanks in advance.

SOURCE: Door locked, wont spin or drain.

humming noise suggests a foreign object in the pump. crack open filter and drain water into a shallow tray. repeat till empty. remove filter completely and clean it. check if something stuck in pump impellor. this should be visible by looking into the filter hole

SOURCE: Bosch Classixx 1000: Won't drain

The Solution: Top up the softener tray with extra water so that it is up to the 'max level' mark.

The softener tray works by a siphon action. Thus, the reason the tray does not empty is that not enough water is added by the machine during the softening cycle, so that the machine does not completely fill the softening tray; only when the softening tray is filled beyond the 'max' mark does the siphon action works. A partially filled tray will never empty - it's impossible due to the siphon.

The reason that not enough water is added to the tray during the softening action is that the water inlet of the machine is partial blocked (you can try to fix that) but it is simpler to just added more water to the conditioner tray.

Thus, the easiest way to ensure that the softener tray empties every time (after adding the softener to the softener tray of course) is to top up the softener tray with extra water, top it up to the 'max level' line (keep a bottle of water by the machine). That way, even if only a little water is added to the softener tray during the softening cycle by the machine it is enough to trigger the siphon action and the tray will empty!

Works for me every time, and no need to remove any parts - I used to take the tray out, clean it, scrub the outlet holes that fill the tray etc, but they used to gum up again quite quickly!

Hope that helps

SOURCE: Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

SOURCE: Finished, wash and spin lights flashing. Door

I just had this problem! To get the clothes out, open door manually (follow answers on other threads here about opening toe panel and gently pulling down on door release). But as it turned out, I didn't need to remove the clothes, and now my washer is working again.

A local repairman gave me this advice over the phone. Make sure dial is switched to off. Unplug your machine, then plug it back in. Hold down the rinse and delay buttons with one hand. With the other hand, switch the dial from off to cold or warm or whatever cycle you want. All the buttons flash a few times, then just the start button flashes. The second time I tried this, my washer worked afterwards. I've done several loads today with no problem.

Bosch was28440au logixx 8

What happens when you select the spin, or drain cycle? Does the washer drain the water and commence with the cycle? If the water does not drain then the door will not unlock on it's own. The pull cord should open the door regardless. If the water is not draining, remove the lower right access panel and check the strainer for excess debris. Pleazer Appliance...

Why is F16 code flashing up on my bosch avantixx washer dryer

The door is not locked properly.
Open and close the door again and press the "start reload" button (play and pause button). If necessary, open the washing machine door, remove some of the cothing items and then push the door closed again. You can also try switching the washing machine off and on again, setting the programme and then starting the programme.

Bosch logixx 7 door wont open

After trying to find manual and doing it the right way with no success my son solved the door problem with a metal fork. Where your hand meets the handle (inside the door drum) shove the fork in to force the clip open. Not the outer edge of the door, theres no locking system there - behind the actual handle.
