Hello. I got error code C9 on a LAVAMAT 86800. It pumped in water, and it pumps out water. You can select pump in or out....But the motor dont turn. It will not sentrifuge. So I bought new carbon brush'es on the net. One of them were totally wore down. Now it works. They lasted for 10 years.

C9 Indicates Motor Fault. It seems that the Carbon Brushes have Worn out.

Replace it and more likely it would Fix the Problem.Once you replace that, you need to put the machine into Service Mode to Reset the Error.

Steps for Reset the Error Code

1. Press and Hold the Prewash and Soaking Buttons Together.
2. Whilst Holding them, Turn the Dial from Off one Click Anti Clockwise

Note - If problem persists, Check the motor plug for broken wires and check the state of the carbon brushes.

C9 indicates that the engine coal is worn out like brake pads on a
car. Re-new them. To reset the C9 error code after repair press in and hold the to upper left button. Rewind the program switch one step back from 0, release the 2 buttons and turn the program switch to 0 (zero). Now the machine error code has been reset.
