My washing machine Lavamat 42260 stopped on its cycle and commence to show E 94 on the panel.
I have been told that the PC board needs replacement. If so, can you suggest someone in Malta's region from where I can buy one if it is worthed to repair the washing machine.
This is a configuration error. There is a way to reconfigure it, if you have the technical information, but most likely you will need to replace the PC board.

sounds like a water fill problem to me, normally at start of cycle door locked, program set, start water solenoid opens and fills machine with water, once water reaches set level heater will come on and wash program will commence,
so if you have a restriction in the water supply/ water tap not turned on correctly, on blockage in water solenoid valve water flow to machine will be restricted causing a long delay before machine starts, things to try
1. make sure hose connection water valve is fully open
2.open soap draw to see / if you can hear water flowing into machine,
3 if its very slow you have a restriction in water supply
could be a twist in water supply hose, causing a restriction
all above is if machine is taking to long to fill with water,
good luck .
Could be a job for an engineer. Do you know how to safely drain machine? If so manually drain water from machine, then check the pump, (bottom right front corner) for obstructions. If you have not done this before, proceed with caution. You will need towels to soak up mess.
