You should try cleaning it. If you have a family Video or a Gamestop around they clean disks and usually get the ring off. This happend to my Black Ops 2 when I lifted my xbox360 up when it was running and i got a deep ring, but i when to family video and they cleaned it up.
This happened to me also. I checked with the store I bought it from and they said "the death ring" is caused by not placing the X-Box 360 horizontally. Evidentally the compression springs that hold the disc in place are not strong like WI and PlayStation for vertical operation.
I'm
guessing that the power light and three of the four quarters around it
are red, also? This is called the Red Ring of Death. What this usually
means is that the heat sink on your processor
or graphics processor has become dislodged. If your console is less
than three years old, it is likely under warranty. Microsoft should fix
it for you if you pay for shipping. You can also try this link for

If
your console is over 3 years old, there are other ways you can try to
fix it. Just Google RROD, and you'll find lots of ideas that may wreck
your console or might fix it temporarily.
My recommendation is
that you call around to local video game stores and see if they have a
trade in program. You can keep your hard drive and plug it into a new
console and you haven't lost any of your game progress or achievements.
do you know where you put the cartridge in below where you placed the 4 screws you can take those apart and you will see some cables inside you will see a red and back one together thats the power from the batteries below. i cut mine and drilled a hole on the side where my son wouldnt hit the cable and now my smart cycle doesn't use batteries it uses the power in my house to power it. i used a 4.5 volt 350 mA power supply for some other deal. i had laying around.
you can use 6volt power supply and that will work i wouldnt go higher than 6 volts since 4 D batteries add up to 6 volts 1.5 x 4 = 6 volts. the watts doest really matter since the device will use what it needs.
black cable on power supply goes to red on bike
black and white cable on power supply goes to black cable on bike
at least thats how it worked on mine it didnt hurt my bike i had to switch the cables around i didnt have the polarity right the first try.
Might be in standby mode or something. because i know when i turb it off the rings disapper try to plugin a controller or something if nothing happens try to plug in a wired controller
your console might be over heated . if you continusly try to play it, stop leave it alone for around 10 minutes. get a soda watch some tv and make sure that consule is completly disconnect from the wall.
