Toro 51599 and toro 51591 both worked fine, were left out of doors under complete cover (cold weather) and neither would start for next use, is there some repair possible

The blower has a cover that snaps on to the tube and covers the propeller. I always use blow mode and it stopped working. I thought the motor was dead but flipped the cover to be in suck mode and it worked. I then put a layer of duck tape around the full circle of the blower side and it snapped in and works fine.

Try some starting fluid and change the gas

Electric means the problem is definitely not with the "gas."

The ball bearing on the motor on mine froze up. I took it apart, and the ball bearing is toast, needs to be replaced.

tip

Before discarding your Toro 51599, check the reset button.

If your blower doesn't work, check the reset button which is located under under the handle. It can be depressed with a screw driver.

Where can i get a replacement motor for a toro model 51599 blower

Toro motors are not available a reasonable price. If you're Toro electric blower is slowing down, throwing sparks, overheating or not starting you may still be able to use your motor by replacing the carbon brushes and or cleaning the commutator. Hope this helps.

My toro ultra 51599 stopped working but I don't know why

It is very common for the bottom cover to not push in the safety button and render the machine "dead" a simple fix. you can get a new cover through a shop like www.arcolawn.com

Toro Blower..No power. Like a blown fuse. Does it have a fuse?

I have the Toro 51591 model. Yesterday, mine did the same as yours. I opened up the case and found that a small cylinder had broken off of the switch. So it could be that your switch is the problem. I have been unable so far to find a replacement anywhere.
You should consider using your warranty.

Toro leaf blower Model 51591 from 2003 has started

Sounds like a piece of wood is caught under/between the impellor and the case/housing. When removing the impellor, you may find it has a left hand threaded nut.

Toro blower model 51591 electrical prong melted. help!

The answer is wrong. This model and other Toro blowers with the plug built into the body (as opposed to the new design with plug on cord) has this problem when the plug does not completely mate with the cord. This happened to mine too. Unfortunately Toro does not provide a replacement part. HOwever, perhaps the new designed cord will fit as a replacement, but I am unsure of this. When my plug melts completely I will try that.
