NO English on my TI 84

Press the [APPS] button. Use arrow to scroll down along the list of apps. Look for apps that have names of languages (Francais, Espanol, Deutch, Dansk, Italiano, Norsk, any european language whose name you can recognize). Once you find the name of a language, highlight it and press ENTER. In the screen that is displayed inviting you to select a language, press 2:English. and press ENTER. The calculator localization should change to the default English language.
To avoid having to do that again, and to save memory spsce, delete the language apps you do not need. delete also the applications that are in those languages (periodic table, Cell Sheets, Science Tools, etc.

Press the APPS key, then select any of the language apps (Deutsch, Espanol, Francais, etc.) and press ENTER. Select English from the menu and press any key when prompted to do so.

You used TIConnect to reinstall the OS. There are three ways you can put programs or apps in your calculator.
1. USB calc-to- computer cable.
2. TI Silver Cable calc-to computer.
3. calculator to calculato cable.

Try whichever calculator to computer link method you did not use,
As a last resort use the calc-to-calc connection to a working calculator

Yours must be on [2nd][Link] -->[Receive] Hit enter when both calculators are ready.
The other TI84 must be on [2nd][Link] Send [G:SendOS]

PS. I checked in The Webster Third New International Dictionary ( about half a million entries), and no wig, wig, whig, whig out meaning that would be appropriate to the present context. Could you enlighten me as to where this idiom is used. Much obliged.

I downloaded Mirage OS, and now I can't download any of the games. I downloaded tetris before, and then I came back and can't download anything through TI connect.


Obviously, at times ti connect is going to be worthless to you if you have OS Mirage. So, that's correct! Plus, it didn't cost me a calculator to find that out!

For you to get it off? I can think of a few, I glad I don't have too..

First push the APPS key. A long alphabetical list will appear and in the list will be various languages EXCEPT English. Scroll down and pick any language--say Espanol --and hit ENTER. The Texas Instruments screen will appear and you will have a choice of pressing 1 for Espanol or 2 for English. When you press 2 the next screen that comes up will say ENGLISH DEFAULTS SET. Just press any key and you're set to go.

Ti 83 and ti84 really have no difference and operate the same. There was something different or you had varibles used by multiple programs that conflicted w/ the ti84 and it would have done the same on the ti83. If you like to rework it and need help email me at [email protected]

The easiest way to fix this is through the Apps menu. Hit the apps key, then scroll down until you see any language(espanol, Deutsch, etc.). It should give you the option of switching to either that language or restoring to English. I just tried this on a calculator that was set to German. I hit Apps and scrolled down until I recognized the option for Spanish, and it still worked. It let me switch back to English.
