OKO LAVAMAT 72630 UPDATE
This is usually caused by the recycling pump running empty whilst the washing is still soaking up the initial fill water. as the water begins to soak the clothes it then starts to pass through the drum into the pump and the whole thing quietens down. running empty will not work. to test this theory try opening the drawer very slightly and filling it manually with a hose before starting the machine, (ONLY TO THE NORMAL LEVEL) and see if the noise is still as bad.

It is a communication problem between the circuit boards inside the machine. It might be as simple as unplugging and replacing the wires, or you may indeed require a new circuit board.

Don't know if this is still a problem for you but if it is, then the solution can be fairly simple!
The blockage (congealed comfort I think) is most likely in the down tube at the back of the drawer enclosure. First raise the machine onto 2 pieces of 4x2 timber or similar and pull off the door of the pump hosing filter (bottom right as you see it) remove the filter and place a shallow vessel under the housing to catch the ****.
Pull out the soap draw completely by giving it a sharp tug when it doesn't want to come any further.
Clean out visible gunge, then using a suitable tool (I've found a long radiator paint roller handle ideal), ease the bent portion of the tool around the back left corner into the down tube. Moving it around should now dislodge some or all of the ****. Remove the tool and replace the draw up to the red arrow the, using a kettle, poor hot water fairly rapidly into the soap dispenser. The water and **** should be flushed through to the pump filter housing. Repeat as necessary until the water runs clean, then replace filter and drawer and remove wooden blocks. Repeat Annually to avoid future problems. Works for me!

SOURCE: AEG OKO LAVAMAT 72630 is showing E20. what does
Error code E-20 means drain problem.
It means that the machine is not draining water correctly. Check the drain hose, to see if it is kinked or folded over. It could also be that the drain pump or drain hose are clogged. Drain the pump (check behind the little panel at the bottom right of the machine), first draining via the small emergency drain hose if you want to avoid a large puddle.
Also get the fluff filter removed and checked. If the filter is clogged then it will not let the water to get drained.
The fluff filter is behind the little trapdoor below and to the right of the drum on the front of the machine. Open the door, unscrew the filter, and pull it out. It will be covered in smelly slimy multi-coloured fluff, which you need to remove. When you remove the filter, there is a good chance that a fair bit of water will come out at the same time, so, if you can place a very low bowl or similar below the filter before you unscrew it it will save you from having to mop the floor.

SOURCE: Hi my AEG OKO-LAVAMAT 88830
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
According to my list for AEG Lavamat washers, 'C3' stands for 3 possible causes 1 'safety flood device operated' (I suspect it means that it has sensed some water in the bottom tray. Not an easy job to do but I would check for a leak underneath), 2 'pump fault' and 3 'module fault'. Sorry I can not be of more help ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!
