Are you washing cereal bowls or mixing bowls on the bottom rack? If so, are you placing them in front? Sudden leaks that form huge puddles can often be attributed to improper loading of the dishwasher. Most dishwashers don't have a seal across the tub front. The door closes over it and does a pretty good job of deflecting water back inside the wash cavity. However, if you place bowls in the front on the bottom rack rack they can divert the water right over the tub lip and onto the floor. This is usually the culprit that causes most leaks in dishwashers. Now, if you don't think you have a loading problem, remove the kick panel on the bottom of the dishwasher and check the drain line and pump housing for leaks. Check the door gasket for tears or cracks. Lastly, feel inside the bottom of the door with your hand. You should be able to feel the door insulation. If it is wet, then the problem could be a leak around your soap or rinse-aid dispenser. Depending on the model, some dispensers are mounted to the door with a gasket behind it. Sometimes this gasket can form leaks. I hope this helps.
If you are going to rate my advice as "not very helpful" it would be nice to get some feedback on what you have tried to do to solve the problem so I may be able to help you further. I've given you nearly every cause that would create a "sudden puddle" on the floor. Barring a simple loading problem or leaky door, the only thing else that could cause a a big puddle like that is a leak in the drain pump, drain line, or a slow leak in the fill valve. Could you let me know what you have found?

I used the information from jsrock to check my dishwasher door.
I found that the vent area was full of old food debris. 100% plugged! So I cleaned it out and presto changeo !! no more leak.
I had the same type of problem with a Maytag DWU8240AAX. I checked the door gasket and found no tears or defects. On the advice of a local appliance parts guy, I applied silicon lube to the gasket-to-dishwasher contact, (called Sil-glyde, it has a petroleum jelly consistency & is available at auto parts stores).
The leak stopped after applying the goop, but that's obviously not a long term solution.
I replaced the gasket. The leak has stopped. For about six-eight months the door took a LOT of pressure to close, but it hasn't leaked since.
Hope this helps someone.
More than likely it is the soap dispenser lock arm gasket or it could be the jet dry container o ring gasket.Either way it is an easy fix just remove the inside door and remove the jet dry tank and silicone around the threads and replace. The lock arm gasket can be easily made if you take your time and use a good gasket material,I don't believe the gasket is available through the dealer. The door gasket very seldom goes bad but its the first thing people replace.
I had the same all-of-a-sudden leak problem with my MDB/C-2 dishwasher. THANK YOU! It was the lock arm gasket and I found it (part # 1662429) at PartSelect.com for $3.91 + shipping. SD in Florida

Sorry about the delay in time in getting back to your problem if not already resolved heres what you can try. Remove the bottom panel and run through a load, to see exactly where leak is coming from, most common place for leak is through the heater hold down brass nuts. They crack and need to be replaced

My dishwasher is also leaking at the bottom on left side..It just started suddenly... It starts leaking at the start of 1st cycle..had a plumber look at it and said he thinks it is the gasket. Help..
I have the same problem, on a Maytag DWU9921BAE. It leaks water. We stopped using it some time ago. It leaks at the end of it's cycle, leaving a puddle on the floor at the front left of the unit.
The door seal looks ok and feels pliable.
