Huskee Supreme lawn tractor runs for about 20 minutes then engines stops like it is running out of gas.

if it restarts after it sits a while you need to check the spindels on the deck one or both may have bearings sezing up after the run and heat up.

Lift kit removal, chasey to body

before u do this look at the radiator hoses and the fan,the gas filler hose for the gas tank, the steering linkage, tranny linkage and the exhaust manifold, and the brake lines, tires might be over sized too.Because all of these had to be modified when the body was lifted, after u have looked at this an disconnected the necessary ones then and only then u can remove the lift kit,you will need a floor jack and a couple blocks of wood, start by find all your bolts for this you should find depending on the lift kit, neoprene spacers between your body a frame,u will have to go to the dealer to purchase rubber grommets and shorter bolts to replace the spacers, and bolts,u will be taking out , after u have done this start loosening the bolts have your jack ready so u can lift up the body just enough so u can get the spacer out, depending on size of truck u will have 6 to 8 bolts,if your lift kit is higher than 3 in u might want to get two jacks one on the front end and one on the back so u don't bend the body and put unnecessary stress on it and put your truck body down evenly, after u have removed the lift kit and put all your grommets and the new shorter bolts in then u get to reconnect all the things u had to undo at first,ie radiator hoses and the fan,the gas filler hose for the gas tank, the steering linkage, tranny linkage and the exhaust manifold, and the brake lines, tires might be over sized..hope this helps and good luck

I have a Huskee Supreme Model # 13AX605H730. I have

According to MTD Parts Lookup:
The correct UPPER belt (referred to as the PTO belt and runs from engine to deck) is part # 754-04122 (Also available as 954-04122...in which only the packaging of the part makes the first digit of the part number change. The two belts are identical.)

The correct Description is:
[ Belt, V-Type, A x 90.24 ]

What that means in plain English is that this is a 1/2 inch wide V-Belt with an Industry Standard "A" cross sectional profile. The more important info would be that it's 90.24 inches long.

As for the "Deck Belt" (the lower belt that runs only from blade to blade to blade) it is listed as part #754-0349 or #954-0349 (again, identical belts, different packaging).

A very common problem we see in my shop is that the front pulley (the one directly attached to the engine) shows signs of separation at the weld and the grovve of the pulley becomes wider, therefore making the belt "act" like it's longer because it runs deeper in that groove.

Reply by using the "Add Comments" section if you need any futher info. I'd be glad to offer other possibilities for these symptoms you've described.

Hope this helps,
Dolf-
