Wheel is all red with 2 silver buttons on the left & 2 on the right side of the centre and has two green leds above centre button.
I want to pass this great wheel onto my son and when I ceased using it some 12-18 months ago it was working perfectly.
I have downloaded the latest drivers for the laptop which has Vista OS and loaded into the system but for some reason it will not detect the wheel.
I have connected it via usb and the power is connected at the pedals unit but I now notice that only one led (left) is on. Should both be on?
If both are supposed to be on, what do I need to do to fix.
I no longer have the instructions that came with the unit so cannot tell whether both leds are to be on.
Can you help me or at least point me in the right direction.
Regards
Dennis

Vista has awful driver support- especially with peripherals such as these and even more so with the 64-bit version. I suggest switching back to XP. It also would never hurt to contact Logitech about if the device is supported by Vista x64 but I highly doubt it.
SOURCE: Hi, is logitech wingman formula force compatible with Sony PL3?
Yes And Know, It works with some games, it is a trial and error, there is a few posts online with games that it works with, I have one and it works with Grand Turismo 5 and Smash Cars, I have not tried it on any others, but it does work on some,
SOURCE: i have wingman formula force i cant get the pedals
might be the pedal connection to the wheel (telephone jack like) I had some success with raising the tiny contacts in the wheel part of the connection with my tiniest allen key

Highly unlikely. It is not a Sony licensed product and Logitech often causes more problems with all systems.I worked on Nintendos and Sony PS2's and know for a fact that there are no other items which are licensed by either. To get the official licensing, they have to pay a fee in order to build to the exact specifications required by both.Since they do not, they are not allowed to use the exact voltages, size of controller inputs, and many other things which really should be exact.I saw at least one unlicensed product such as this cause problems every day for 3 years straight.Stick with the game console name brand products and you will be much better off.Good luck,Greg
