SOURCE: washer won't unlock flashes f14.....Kenmore

F14 for Kenmore (Whirlpool) machines means EEPROM Error.

The Central Control Unit (CCU) receives it's data from an EEPROM on board the CCU, if there is an error reading this data, it will cause this error.

A power glitch may cause this error. Try unplugging the Unit for two minutes to see if that fixes the error. Check CCU. So its likely you'll need a new CCU board.

Check your owners manual, some models have up to a 5 year parts warranty on that CCU.

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite 110.22992101 won't achieve full spin

Hello the lack in spin speed is mainly due to a worn clutch which is shown on this diagram as part number 5 click this link for the schematic http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/P0107049-00004.png here is also a video tutorial on how to change the clutch as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVc6SZ2DD4U you can also check this issue by when the unit is spining useing the palm of your hand against the inner drum if the drum slows or stops then it would definetly need a clutch replacement. If you have any further questions message me back the part number to order a new clutch would be 8299642 Thanks I await any further questions you may have.

SOURCE: kenmore side by side frig

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
The ref. temp should be about 33-35
The Freezer temp should be 0 to 10 Any thing below these temps is overkill and a waste of elect
The higher the number you turn it up to is the coldest
The icemaker is 110v
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking or no water at icemaker or door either one, then the valve at the rear bottom of ref needs replacing
I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also if it is getting drinking water to the door but not to the icemaker (or vice versa) Then you need to replace
the water valve at the bottom rear of the fridge. It is a double valve and one side is not working
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

My stand alone Kenmore elite 3 cycle under counter ice maker has stopped making ice. is there a reset procedure?

This is what I read somewhere....
ok, then this means that one of your thermistors is shorted. There is a chill plate thermistor mounted to the bottom of your silver plate where the ice is formed, and there is a white thermistor mounted to the right side wall inside your bin. You can disconnect the chill plate thermistor and run a cycle to see if it will run without being connected. If the error goes away, you can leave the thermistor disconnected or replace it, either way the unit will continue to work.

If you disconnect the chill plate thermistor and it still doesn't work, then you need to replace your bin thermistor, you can't just disconnect this thermistor to get the unit working again.

How long once the ice maker starts making ice should we use it

What kind of ice maker is it? Is it a stand alone or is it inside your freezer? If inside your freezer it will take two days to fill the storage container. Stand alone types usually make 20 lbs of ice in 24 hrs or so.

Hi, I have a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator model #596.76253702 that leaks water from the bottom every time the ice maker refills. The problem keeps getting worse since I purchased this product 2 years ago.

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.
If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

Ice maker water not stopping
The water inlet valve may be staying open. You can swap the wires on the dual water inlet valve and disconnect the water line at the valve which goes to the ice maker. When you try the water dispenser the water will come out there. When you stop the water dispenser, if the water at the valve doesn't stop, the valve isn't closing so you'll need to replace it. If it does stop after trying it several times then the problem is with the ice maker.

Kenmore elite ice maker stopped making ice,

There are many things that can go wrong with a Kenmore refrigerator ice maker. Your ice maker may be leaking. It may not make any ice at all, or the ice that comes out smells or has an odd appearance. The problem may have an easy solution, or it may require a technician's expertise. The troubleshooting tips in this article will minimally make you aware of what is likely the source of the problem. You may be able to fix the problem yourself and save a bundle.

When it Won't Make Ice
1 Get a thermometer and see how cold it is in there. If your freezer is fewer than 17 degrees F, it won't make ice. The freezer temperature setting may be too high or the thermometer is broken and not calibrated correctly. If adjusting the temperature fails to work, call a Kenmore technician.
2 Determine if your water fill spout in the freezer is plugged with ice. If so, no new ice can be made. Try clearing it out or melting the ice by running a hair dryer on it for a few minutes.
3 Turn your refrigerator around to look at the back side to see if water is getting to the water inlet valve behind the fridge. If the water is not properly connected, there's no water to make ice.
4 Use an ohm meter to test for coil continuity. If the ohm meter shows there is no continuity, then you will need to replace the water inlet valve.

Hope thiswould help you

Have a good day : )
