A trying to repair a Bosch AL60 DV2425 Battery Charger. Upon closer inspection there is a device (V5), which looks like a TO-220AB configuration mounted on an upright heatsink. Unfortunately half of the device has broken off (and disappeared), so it's not possible to determine (by what I can make out of the available markings) exactly what it is. The markings that are available are P4N???. Ideally I could do with someone who's got one of these to whip the top of theirs and read the info from device directly - you'll find it adjacent to where the mains power lead connects to the PCB. Failing that a schematic would be very useful. Anyone help please? Regards Chris

im taking it that the cooler you refer to is actually a general fridge. if its not working, it is either your th/stat which has not reset or if not, assuming your fridge is an auto defrost, look behind the freezer and locate the timer. you should see a plastic knob plus/minus in the middle of the timer. turn the knob and listen if refrigerator comes on. if not call a tech.

Just so you know. Bosch has a 5 year warranty on any printed circuit board (excluding labor) so you pay only for labor charges. They have a 2 year warranty (again excluding labor) on the entire dishwasher. I am leaving a copy of my owners manuals warranty information I hope this helps.

If you are in UK, check the fuse inside the power cord.

If the power cord is not fused, then you need to replace the control board, or fix a wiring problem, since this machine does not have any fuse in control board.

call bosch. There are specific instructions and a template they supply for measuring and attaching the panel. But that's all I can offer. Understanding the instructions is a whole 'nother' problem.
