I replaced the projection lamp and the light flashed red 3 times after researching i found it was the projection door now the light just flashes red non stop

Hi,

There are usually several micro switches (little metal levers) inside the projection tv - most commonly by the lamp assembly and behind the lamp door.

It's possible either:

a) the lamp is not fully seated into position - ensure the lamp assembly is locked into position and that all screws have been secured, which will correctly close the micro switch.

b) the lamp door is slightly misaligned - ensure the door is aligned properly (do not force it) and all screws MUST be secured into place, which will correctly close the micro switch.

If the above items are in their correct positions, then you may need to test the 'continuity' of the switches (open & closed) using a multimeter, to determine whether you many have a faulty micro switch.
