I am not sure which model you are referring to. if there is not button to set to factory settings and
if your manual can not help you I would recommend asking somebody who speaks japanese.

I once had the same thing with my Phone, my kid changed the language to Arabic.
luckily I was working with an Arab at the time so he change it back.

I bought a camera in Japan (Sony Cybershot DSC-WX1) and now it seems that i can't change the language from japanese to english.
