Tip & How-To about Luggage & Travel
There are a lot of wallets that claim that they will keep your RFID credit and debit cards from getting read. The problem with most of these wallets is that they are made out of fabric and foils that over time will tear and eventually stop working.
Using an Altoids tin or similar tin box has been the best solution that I have found. When I load all my cards in to the box and latch the lid, nothing gets read no matter how long it sits on a RFID reader. These boxes are also made to take the beating of your busy life so all your cards, passports and ID cards will be safe from being read when you don't want them to be read. Of course the safest solution is to not have any RFID cards but in the future it might become hard to avoid.
