Funny story: Follow these instructions and your Continue button will work perfectly. I'm on my third career without one problem on Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. 1) Open your Device Manager and highlight the Mice and other pointing devices section. 2) Start NFS Pro Street (it will not start with mouse disabled) and get to the Main Menu. 3) Alt+Tab over to the Device Manager and use your mouse to disable the mice listed under Mice and other pointing devices. 4) As soon as your mouse stops working, immediately Alt+Tab over to Need for Speed and play away. Your continue button will work flawlessly. 5) When you're done playing Alt+Tab back over to the Device Manager and your cursor will still be on the mouse option that disabled it. 6) Hit Enter to bring up the Properties window, hit Tab once to move it to the Enable Device button, then hit the space bar three times. Your mouse is back on. 7) Close the game with your mouse (just out of spite) and remember these few easy steps. *Unplugging the mouse does not work, sadly. Evidently there is some problem with the mouse on your desktop stealing focus in Windows 8, I noticed it when I had a mouse cursor in the game on my main screen and saw my desktop mouse cursor moving around on my second monitor at the same time. The two are out of sync somehow and it nerfs the works. This is working for me with Autosave on and off, cracked and non-cracked .EXE, with and without cheat codes, no Gameboost or whatever it is. I did it with both a Logitech gamepad and a Logitech steering wheel and pedals, it's all a matter of having the pad and buttons assigned the right way. After doing this twice, it takes less than fifteen seconds total to do and I get to play one of my fave racing games without worry. Oh, as a sidenote, those of you having the login problems who bought the game cheap from Origin and downloaded it, I suggest a disc copy. I paid very little for mine and I don't have to log in to a thing. I can cancel the "Connecting to EA" message as soon as it pops without issue. Enjoy boys and girls!

To all the fellas that have a problem with running Pro Street on Windows 7 or Vista.(you know the black screen upon starting the game) It doesnt matter which build of windows 7,vista you Have. the sollution to this is to go to program files or which ever localtion you installed the game. Rename the "nfs.exe" to "nfsps.exe" and go to the Pro Street Icon on your desktop, right click and click properties. go to the target path and edit the "nfs.exe" to "nfsps.exe" e.g: "C:\Program Files\EA games\nfsps.exe". Please note that this may not be the same target path as yours depending on which path you have installed the game. Click apply and ok. then run the game. note: this fix is only for gamers that encounter a black screen when starting the game in windows 7.

Right click on the .exe file and choose compatibility(you make have to do this on the parent folder). From there make sure its setup for windows xp SP3

In the start up menu (1st one) its where u can create ur track and when it asks u to choose single player or split screen pick split screen.sometimes it wont work since there's a known issue for NFS 2player mode

This Game dose not suport Windows Vista! i bought the download Version of it from EA-Games Store and contacted suppot they told me it dose not get along with Windows Vista. And i was Refuned my Money

Well when you get it, the code had writing by it that says "Do not lose this code, put his is a safe place!"

Wel, mistakes happen so, search for a "need for speed prostreet" keygen in google. Some may contain viruses so you'll need to be a little superstitious.

had same problem either delete corrupted folder or if still under warrenty get a new one thats what i had to do with mine

try delete the game data and reinstall it, see whta happens, yo can download your dlc upto 5 times for these very purposes

try it again but make it past 9% and see what happens. If it stills says that the memory is cor then what you need to do is find out if your ps3 is a 60G if it is then you its the PS3, the 60G is a Defective ps3, Get the 80G it is great, and if its the 180G or 120 then it might be that two since there new and all. If you dont have either one then i would check out all the other saved memory you have and see if anything elts is core. If it is then its the PS3. Hopefuly i have helped!

did you bump the 360 when it was being played? if not then it just might be a data error with the saving.
