To create an M3U playlist On your PC, create a new empty .txt document using word pad, type nothing but save the file as a .txt. go in to my computer -->> explore and find the file and rename the .txt document so it has an m3u file extension (example: my_list.m3u). Open the m3u file with wordpad, notepad, or a text editor. In the first line at top of the page type #EXTM3U. After the first line, start listing your music files, copy and paste the song names , (with extension ie .mp3). One music file name each line. Exit the text editor and save the m3u file once you are finished. Drag and drop the M3U playlist to the Sansa player's MUSIC folder, your done if it works.

2. Basically, when you buy music from iTunes, it comes with a copyright protection called DRM. These DRM-protected songs are locked so that they only work with Apple MP3 players. That means that if you bought a Microsoft Zune, you cannot use iTunes music.

So, what is the solution? You have to burn a CD. When you do this, the DRM is removed (because the music is converted to a non-DRM-compatible media). After you burn the CD, you can rip it to your PC as an MP3 file which no longer has DRM.

this happens... with mine a ton, i want to get a new one to get a fresh start so maybe it won't happen as often... but give it a rest or something and it will eventually start working. my problem is that the screen blacked out and it's not playing music.NVM O MY GOSH IT JUST STARTED WORKING. WOW. so i don't have a problem. yay. wow, is that ironic or what?

To record a radio u have to go to the station u want and then push the bottom button on the turn pad and scroll down and find record and then u record.

The JPEG's that won't display are probably too high a resolution or the file size of the image may be too high. If you are using sandisk Sansa for instance you can use the Sansa Media Converter to change (lower) the resolution of the images, or you can use other software to alter the images.

Hold the on/off slider for 30-40 seconds and then release to reset the device. Then try turning it on. Also, sometimes if the battery is low/dead it will take longer than 3 hours to charge up. If it does not turn on after the reset you might try letting it charge for a day or so and try again. If it doesn't work after all of this, it should be returned to where ever you bought it for a replacement.

Not sure what you mean here as this device has a USB cable and a microSDHC expansion slot. By inserting a microSD or microSDHC card the MP3 player lets you expand its memory up to 32GB. You can obtain these cards from a computer store or online.

to my laptop. I am using windows 7. I went to my device Manager, click portable devices folder, under Walkman NWZ-B163F, click properties, update software, it reads : this device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31).When I click Driver, update Driver, it says (The Best river software for your driver is already installed. Windows has dertermine the driver software for your device is up todate.

I experienced the same problem (my USB device ). try these steps: 1. Start, Control Panel, 2. Performance and Maintenance, 3. Administrative Tools, 4. Computer Management, 5. Disk Management, 6. Find the USB drive (usually the last storage device before the optical drive), 7. Click on the USB drive, 8. Right click on it and you will see the options (New Partition or Format) 9. Follow the instruction (I chose FAT32), but please do NOT chose Quick Format.

To change the language on a Fuze, press the MENU button, select Settings (four vertical slider), select the last item on the menu, then select the sixth item on the submenu.

Press the power and the Play (>||) button together for 20 seconds to reset the unit

slide "hold" button, lock the player.Now hold record and power button together. it will say to enter MSD mode. conncet to the computer. it will be displayed in 16mb format. open it, add a folder "sansa.fmt". disconnect from the computer. your sansa is formatted now. u will lose your data saved in it and may not be able to view pics n videos again. bt the sansa will be formatted.

use a home charger not the USB charger. It is too weak to recharge the FUZE.

Slide the power switch up, past the "ON" position, to lock/unlock the unit.
