Unable to download files from apple itunes
ITunes does not support this player. To put music on the player you must copy the files from the folders where the music files are on your computer to the device mounted on your computer.
How do you add songs on device
Hi atiug b...
Downloading Music to MP3 Player
1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.

WMP says it cannot access the file, might be in use, proxy settings
Windows Media player has limited options for playing different formats of file. But it can be corrected. Try download the full CODEC pack. You can get it free, but always choose the advanced options from the download site, as it might try and change or add new browsers or other software.
Once installed it should play any file.

My SanDisk Sansa Clip won't charge
If you've used the player while hooked up to the charger this often kills the battery and you will need a new one.
Never use a phone or battery operated device through the charger. Always just let it charge!
Has it held a charge before?

I lost it off my pc.can t use it anymore
I have had similar issues. What I found wasansa away until it s that if I put the sansa mp3 player away for several days or long enough to wear down the battery / capacitor it would recharge and work correctly.
You may also need to look into the USB cable a newer driver for the computer, and if all that checks out and you still have problems look for a forum of users that could have more to offer.
500 songs, all gone but wont allow other downloads, "too full"
Re: 500 songs, all gone but wont allow other downloads, "to full"
Use settings "format" on mp3 player. This will delete any hidden files. If you download in one format (say like Ubuntu) and delete them under another (say Windows), files can remain in *.trash which is hidden. To avoid this in the future, try deleting with shift+del as it will bypass the trash folder.
