When we turn on the dishwasher there is no water

hi Mapletonmob. this is all i could find out. A dishwasher that will not fill with water can be frustrating and repairing it through a serviceman can be expensive. Even for someone who may not consider themselves handy, repairing a dishwasher is not a difficult process. Below we've provided you with a list of the most common parts that fix a dishwasher will not fill with water. Use this information to help troubleshoot which part is broken The water inlet valve is used to fill the dishwasher with the proper amount of hot water and is controlled by the timer or electronic control. The valve will be located behind the lower access panel and will have two wires attached to it, an outlet hose to the tub and a hot water inlet from the household supply. If your dishwasher does not fill then you should first check the inlet supply to verify that you have enough water pressure and that you have power going to the valve during the fill portion of the cycle. If these conditions are met then the valve is defective and should be replaced. If you do not have power to the valve then you should look at the float switch, the timer or electronic control or the door switches as a possible problem. All of the electrical checks can be made with a multi-meter. A malfunctioning float could cause the dishwasher to not fill with water. The float is located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub and acts as a safety device that prevents the dishwasher from over filling with water. The float rises with the water level in the dishwasher and when the proper level is reached, the float will trigger the float switch to turn off the water inlet valve. Check that there is no debris or foreign objects that might restrict the vertical movement of the float and that it engages the float switch located beneath the tub. The float switch sits below the float, beneath the dishwasher tub. When the float switch is triggered by the float, power to the water inlet valve is interrupted and it stops the flow of water into the dishwasher. Verify that the mechanical action of the float to the switch is operating properly and that the wire connections are secure. To check that the float switch is working properly, remove the wires and test for continuity with a multi-meter. The door switch is a simple on/off mechanism that prohibits the dishwasher from operating when the door is open. If the door switch or switches are malfunctioning the dishwasher will not fill with water. This door switch mechanism is typically located behind the door panel at the top of the door. To verify the operation of the switches you will need to separate the inner door from the outer door and then remove the wires from the switches and check for continuity with a multi-meter. We've identified the most common parts that can cause the dishwasher to not fill with water, but there are other parts that could be at fault. If you are unable to fix your dishwasher with the information above, if none of the above work you might have to call someone out to have a look at it.

I had similar symtoms, my problem was that not enough water was reaching the dishes. As others have suggested, check the spray arm for cleanliness and freedom of movement.

What is the year of my matag dishwasher DWU7450AAX

Maytag encodes the year and month in the serial number. The 9th position should be a letter that indicates the year, and the 10th position should be a letter that indicates the month. R=2010, T=2011, V=2012, X=2013, B=2014.

Dishwasher door will not open

You will have to remove the mounting screws holding the dishwasher in place. Then pull the dishwasher out of the space a couple inches.
You can then activate the door catch from the top to open the dishwasher.
Once you have it open,
You will have to open the control panel by removing the 6 screws across the top inside of the door. You can then examine the door latch assembly to find out what part is at fault.

My maytag dishwasher is leaving a white cloudy film on my dishes that won't come off!

First check your rinse aid make sure you have some in there. I have been told that too much or too little of this can cause problems with etching glass and damaging dinnerware. . I would put a cup in right side up and wash a wash as usual and take the cup out and check that water after. Make sure your using a proper soap, and hot water is getting to your dishwasher. Or has it been full and not really coming out over a long period of time? Another possibility is it is dirty inside the dishwasher, and not draining?

How do I reset the control panel on my dishwasher?

could be wites in the door at the hinge, the microswitches in the door lick assembly, or if it is a series of flashes it could mean a code depending on your model number. Last to check is visuals on the control board for burning, or any loose wiring.

When is on 5 minits working then display showing end what is the reason

Sounds like a drain problem maybe. Also these tend to have a blinking pattern, sometimes. Or if it is just saying clean, it could mean an error of some other function not working. My guess, the drain is clogged. check to see if you can actually cancel the cycles, fill wash and then cancel it out, then check to see if it drained all the way out.

Does it blink 7 times pause then repeat if so then have a heating problem control does not detect a temperature rise, don't know your technical expertise I ohm out heater at the control easier than pulling out the machine just look for continuity means heater is good if none you'll have to reach under unit to make sure you do not have a burned wire to heater if heater is good ohm out thermistor at room temp should be between 50-70 thousand ohms very seldom does this part go bad but i had one so check it last if both parts check good then the electronic control is not outputting 120VAC to the heater.

Water coming in dishes not getting cleaned

Look inside the spin blade and see if there is food or paper inside of the spin blade exit holes blocking it from spraying and spinning. Also if the spin blade is not aligned with nozzle which sprays water into the blade it will not work. I have had both happen several times. Sometimes dishes or pans pushing against the spray nozzle will also miss align the spray jet so the water does not get into the spin blade. I have also had the spin blade be completely worn and would not spin creating the same problem you've had so I had to replace it. Hope this helps.
