Bissell 9500 ProHeat 2X CleanShot Upright Deep Cleaner, Red Berends Vacuum - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Shampooer tank not working
Most times there is a problem with the cap and insert at the bottom of the tank, part #2036675. Either that or the tank isn't sitting flush and down all of the way, leaving a gap. If this is less then 1 year, then it is under warranty.

Bissel pro heat 2x wont spray any water
I had the exact same problem with my ProHeat 2. It would spray only through the hose attachment but not on the floor. Cleaning of the spray endings on the floor unit fixed my problem. Either soap deposits or dirt was clogging the spray endings. Here is what to do to clean up the spray endings:
1. Remove the water container from the bottom unit
2. Look up for two red plastic endings on the bottom unit
3. Using your fingers to clip sides of an ending, carefully remove it from its slot
4. Using pliers, release the clamp from plastic ending and remove the red plastic ending from the hose
5. Clean the ending
6. Put the ending back on the hose, slide clamp back on the ending
7. Insert the ending back in its slot
8. Repeat 3-7 for the other ending
That solved the problem for me!

I have a Bissell proheat steam cleaner, the 9500
There is probably more gunk in there, the gunk can dry and break off in little shards which can get clogged up.
You can try putting straight vinegar in it, try running it through and let it sit in there for a while to see if it can help loosen up and flush out the gunk.

Bissell Big Green Carpet Cleaner has poor suction why?
Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.
Most of the time the reason why vacuum is not picking up is due to loss of suction. You may need to check for blockages of your wand and hose. Remove the wand and hose from your cleaner when checking for blockages and any damages. Make sure to turn off and unplug your vacuum from the power before doing this. You may need to refer to your User's Manual for instructions and guide.

No liquid through accessory hose
Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.
There are a number of reasons why your unit doesn't spray water. It could be that the !) water tank is empty which you can fill heavy duty bladder with hot tap water. 2) If Formula tank is empty, you can fill it with Bissell 2x formula for cleaning. 3) If tank may not be seated properly, turn the power off, remove and reseat the tank. 4) If pump may have lost prime, try to turn off and then turn on the unit, wait for one minute and depress trigger. If still nothing happens, I suggest you contact Bissell 1-800-237-7691 for further assistance.

No solution is dispensing from the machine
Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.
First, water tank and formula tank should be filled correctly. Second, make sure the tank is seated properly and reprime the pump. Lastly, make sure that the caps are on securely and the red rubber auto-load gaskets are in place. If the red auto-load gasket is missing, check to see if it's stuck in the reservoir and place it back at the bottom of the tank outlet connection.

Why did soap and water canister leak onto floor?
Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.
First, make sure that the caps are on securely and the red rubber auto-load gaskets are in place. If the red rubber auto-load gasket is missing, check to see if it's stuck in the reservoir. Next, check the tanks for cracks or damage. If there is damage then you may need to replace it. If your gaskets are correctly assembled and your tanks don't seem to be damaged, at this point it might be best to take your carpet cleaner to a technician. You can call Bissell at 1-800-237-7691 for authorize service center near your area.

Water stopped coming through hand tool.
Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.
Make sure that you have BISSELL 2X Formula and water in your clean water tank. Check as well if the spray tip on the CleanShot has a clog. If it is clogged, clean the spray tip with an object such as a paperclip. If CleanShot itself has been damaged, it needs to be replaced. If your CleanShot has a button,, check to make sure you are pushing down the button on the upper handle. If you are pressing the button, make sure the handle is securely attached to the body of the machine.
