Hi, I have been experiencing the same problem with all 3 consoles that i have in my house. Firstly you need to remove the R4 card from the slot, make sure your ds is charged if not charge it up a bit, then you need to change the date on your system to before the problem occurred, i changed mine from the 19th back to the 12th and this sorted the problem. Lots of people have been having this problem lately and this has sorted it, however we dont know if it will occur again when the system reaches the same date perhaps if it does moving the date forward to the real date might work, lets hope so! Make sure its pluged in right, the charger is clean at the part where you put it in and the Nintendo's plugin place is clean. If you bend the charger, it will make it short circuit, and it wont harge right, so DONT bend it! I've learned from experience. If none of those work you might have to get them both checked or get a new charger.

ok..only cheat is action replay. other than that you have to work for your money like... selling your fruits in town, everyday hit rocks with your shovel money comes out if you got the right rock. If you have wifi i can give you my FC and come to your town and drop about 1 million bells.

You going to have to replace it to fix it. Screens are available thru Ebay and good retro Video game Stores. Warning this is not a novice thing as it requires you to completely disasemble you DS Lite and requires you to solder back on the speaker wires to the ribon cable.

Usually a hard reset of the game will (Works for most DS games) Before powering on the game, or in the case of DSI or 3DS before clicking on the game icon. Press hold the "A," "B," "Y," "X," "R," and "L" buttons simultaneously while holding these down turn on the game or press the game icon.

You have probably damaged the cable that passes through the hinge on the DS, the only way to fix this is to replace the top screen on your DS lite.

Try taking the SD card out and cleaning them.

Replace the connector cord between two screens. You can buy new ones from DX Deal extreme! Carefully remove through hinge and attach securely.

Be careful not to break the fine wires connecting. Have to twist the connector cord in the correct way to make it go through hinge without damaging.
