The screen light

Hi, it might be the fuse.
Does the DS turn fail to turn on?
Does the charge light just flash briefly when you plug in charger?
If so it will be the fuse.
If the console it out of warranty, maybe you or someone you know can fix it.

Hi I take it you mean DSi or above?? Just Google Nintendo parental control andremover tool and it should bring up a page with a reset tool but make sure time and date are correct on console. Takes about 2 minutes max. It will give you a reset code to type in of about 5or6 digits. DONOT ring the Nintendo number as there is no need. I forget the page or I'd paste it for you

I think you should start saving for a new one. Repair will be more expansive then buying a new one.

okay the same dang thing happened to me and i do have an answer but make sure you keep this in mind in the future the most likely reason that happened was while the action replay was saving you turned your game off don't do that i did it twice and well it sucks big time but in case you do it again save this to your desktop by copying and pasting on a notepad okay! the fix is simple: Try resetting the hardware by following these steps:
1/ With the console powered off, hold A+B.
2/ Power up the console while still holding A+B.
3/ As soon as the Nintendo screen is displayed, before our screen stating this product is not endorsed by Nintendo, press and hold Start and Select while keeping hold of A+B.
4/ Continue to hold these buttons until the Main Action Replay screen is displayed, then release. Your product is reset, and will accept codes once more.

also afterwards you need to know a game id ill give you my metroid game's click add new game and type in a letter or two randomly and click the next button thingy then type in 

AMHE-187B29B5 and click next after that have your game in the action replay and start the game up as soon as you see your games beginning credits you can switch off the ds and it will then be able to be updated!

also after you fix your ds spread this on forums like this one as answers to people's questions so that other people won't spend forever finding an answer like we did!

Stuck on Loading Screen This usually indicates that the software kernel on the micro sd memory card has become corrupted. It can also happen if the micro sd memory card is overloaded with games, music and video files etc. The solution is to reinstall the kernel software on the micro sd card and ensure the micro sd memory card is not overloaded. Leave about 25% memory free. download SDformatter and format the sd card with that, place all the files on there, none in folders..

• Download the correct software kernel from the manufacturers website
• Unzip the files using a suitable programme such as Win Zip or 7 Zip.
• Open the folder containing the unzipped files and copy the 4 files (Moonmemo, Moonshl2, R4iMenu and R4.dat) to the root of the memory card.
• At this point put the memory card into your R4 card. Start your console and ensure the R4 card is operating correctly.
• You may have to run an upgrade file at this point

If the console has overcharged or has been used for long periods of time or could just be fluke, chances are the fuses are blown on the main motherboard try this link, this guy fixed my ds and i had the exact same problems as you guys have

It may be because the settings entered into the Nintendo DS are not compatible, or the router's broadcast settings should be changed.

Try creating a new connection with your system.

Hi Ds lite use w e p encryption and I guess your wi fi will be w p a/2
You would have to change your modem/router to the w e p in your wi fi settings but this type of encryption is not secure
DSi and above use w p a and can access intenet www Better

Oh and they're is no way to change from w e p on your ds lite console I'm afraid

in order to get online you first need a game that is a wifi game,you can't just go online, also need wi fi, either open wifi at mcdonalds, borders book store, etc..or at your house

I did have Error: Data is not align 16k! when i start up my ds.
What I did was..

All the files you need are at www.neoflash.com.
Your need (MK5) v1.45 which is in the download section.

Some of the nds roms do needed unraring before putting on memory card. They should be in .nds format etc.

The files you need are...

DSYSTEM (Entire Folder And Contents

xmenu.dat

When you have these files THEN you can format by...

Please insert both cards in to the DS and power up, tap the screen to continue as you would for any normal game.

You will then come to the menu "USB Mode" and "Menu Mode"
Instead of selecting one please press and hold the "select button" on the DS then tap "start"

Select "Quick Format"
Once complete restart the DS, you will have to tap the screen as above and this time select" USB MODE"

By formatting the menu file will have been deleted from internal Memory and will need replacing with the files. downloaded from neoflash.com

I suspect the screen ribbon cable has a small split in it and would need replacing

It should be on your wifi router
