What is the A:09 code
Code A09 means there is a problem with the water supply. Ensure your water is turned on completely, unplug the machine for 1 minute and then plug it back in. If the code persists, you should turn off the water and remove the supply lines. There is usually a filter in one end of each hose or at the water valve hookup. Ensure that the filter is clean and replace it. If you have done this and you know that you have good water flow through the supply hoses, I would suspect the water valve solenoid(s) as being defective.

Water keeps running and doesnt fill up on large
Your pressure switch stops the water and allows it to start the next cycle. It's a switch either in the control panel or at the top of the tub with a small tube connected to it which goes down between the inner and outer tub. As the water level increases the air in the tube is compressed until there is enough pressure to make the switch stopping the water from filling. This tube can get clogged and the switch won't work. Remove the tube and clean it out. Blowing on the tube when it's still connected to the switch will make the switch if it's working and clear.
If it fills with water and starts the cycle and the water keeps running in then your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is sticking. It needs replacing.

Washer stopped after filling
I know this may sound like a stupid question but "is the lid closed completely "? if so open the lid and take a plastic knife and depress the safety switch on the top of the machine and see if it works. It will be located on the top of the machine usually it is an oval shaped hole under where the lid closes down on it. If that works then you can open the top of the machine and adjust the safety switch.

My Whirlpool washer won't agitate or spin . But it does drain the water.
i also had the same problem, and it ended up being the coupler. It was not hard to replace, it cost me about 19.00. I didn't follow full recomende instructions. I tipped the washer backwards. Removed the drain pump and the motor itself. Then I removed the old coupling and placed the new one. The washer is working like new...
