How do i transfer photos

The photos in The Kodak Easyshare Gallery are stored in a folder on your computer. If you know the name of the folder, you should be able to find it and open the folder to view all the photo files (probably .jpg files).

Assuming you use Windows XP
There is a way of finding all the photos on your computer by doing the following:

Click Start\Search\For Files and Folders\
When the window opens
Click All files and folders
In the top window type *.jpg then click Search

This will display all the .jpg files on your computer.
When the search has finished you can simply click on any file then copy and paste it anywhere you want.

If you don't find any files do the following then try again.
Open My Documents
Click Tools (at the top of the screen)
Click Folder Options
Click View
This will open a small window. Look down the list for the following option:-
Hide extensions for known file types
Make sure that there is no tick next to it. If there is a tick, click it, and this will untick the option.
Then click Apply

Then follow the instructions again for searching as shown above.
If you follow these instructions you should be able to put your photos in a different folder.

Please let me know how you get on...

How can i reset factory setting on my sony dsc55 camera

Reset button on the camera

  1. Locate the RESET button on the camera.
  2. Use a pointed object (like a ballpoint pen) to press and hold the RESET button for 2-3 seconds.
  3. After 2-3 seconds has elapsed, release the RESET button.
Initialize or Reset option(s) in the camera menus
  • The menu layout is different between cameras so check the operating instructions.
  • In general, there will be a Reset or Initialize section within the menus of the camera.
  • Some cameras allow for resetting or initializing different options such as wireless settings, the settings used in taking the last picture, or all settings. Be sure to look at all available options in the product manual.
Manual reset process

Cameras manufactured prior to the year 2000 do not have reset buttons or options in the menus. Follow the steps below to reset:

    1. Turn off the camera.
    2. Remove the battery pack.
    3. Remove the button-sized lithium battery.
    4. Allow the camera to remain without power for 30 seconds.
    5. Reinsert the button-sized lithium battery.
    6. Reinsert the battery pack.
    7. Turn on the camera.

NOTE: If your camera is experiencing an issue and it is not resolved by performing the appropriate reset or initialize procedure above, service may be required.

I lost user manual of my Sony Cybershot DSC-W150

I think you have set the "image storage" to internal. If you take a picture the memory reading should go down one shot-if it doesnt it is because your photos are on the internal memory instead of on auto or memory card. If you take out the card then try to view the pictures hopefully you will now see them. Eventually if this is the problem you will get a notice telling you that "internal memory is now full£.

This is an indication that your memory card is damaged, either physically - (electronics inside damaged) or the work of a virus. Try scanning it from a card reader, if that fails you need to replace it.
