How to remove write protect on my usb flash drive?

OK – after an hour or so of faffing around :knock: , I think that I have found a possible solution tongue.gif . The problem seems to be something to do with Microsoft’s SP2 dead.gif !
Here’s what worked for me (sorry for the Idiot’s Guide approach, but I used to :hotbounce hate it :hotbounce when I used forums and couldn’t understand what the technobabble meant!):

- Start > Run > type ‘regedit’ (without the speachmarks) > Enter
- Single-click on ‘My Computer’ > File > Export > save it to the Desktop (Always best to have a backup!!)
- Go to the following:
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDeviceP olicies
*There seems to be some spaces here in 'StorageDevicePolicies' in the text above, there shouldn't be, OK*
- Double click on the string ‘WriteProtect’ and change the ‘Value Data’ box to ‘0’
- Then: File > Export > save somewhere useful as something like ‘StorageDevicePolicies001.reg’
- You also need to do this for the strings in any folders called ‘ControlSet***’ (* = any Digit, i.e. 001, 002) – for example: Everything is the same, just change ‘CurrentControlSet’ to ‘ControlSet***’
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\StorageDevicePolic ies
*There seems to be some spaces here in 'StorageDevicePolicies' in the text above, there shouldn't be, OK*
- Save these to the same place as before as ‘StorageDevicePolicies00*’

The saves are in case it reverts at a later date, just double click (saying ‘yes’ to importing these to the registry) on all of the files and it will all work again!

Thanks to Fatbird

New battery no power . how do i reset? where is the reset button at?

Resident Evil Revelations Going to Xbox, PS3, Wii U, PCToday Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil Revelations is due Xbox 360 and PS3 as rumored. However, those aren't the only platforms which will obtain the survival horror game. Capcom is also porting the sport towards the Wii U and PC.The Xbox 360 elite and PS3 versions aren't a huge shock. They were outed by way of ratings board and Achievements list. However, this can be the very first time we've heard anything about Wii U or PC editions in the game. Glad how the world still has some surprises in it.Revelations was initially released in January 2012 to the 3DS. The game's campaign was held between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The junior Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance has to combat a FTO called Il Veltro that is certainly threatening to unleash bio-organic weapons across the world. Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield and their respective partners will battle their way by having a cruise liner and city filled with mutants. The console and PC editions with the game will obviously look superior to their 3DS predecessor. Capcom is promising HD graphics and improved lighting. You will observe these functions for you inside the new screenshots below. The visual upgrades is going to be accompanied by remastered sound. Gameplay improvements add a new difficulty mode and a "terrifying new enemy."The only-player/co-op Raid Mode on the 3DS version will likely be returning also, albeit with some improvements. Players will complete standalone mission to earn XP and upgrades. The updated Raid Mode brings new weapons and skillsets, and lets players assume the role of Hunk along with series veterans.Resident Evil Revelations will launch on consoles and PC on May 21st in North America. The European launch will track on May 24th. Starting on January 24th, you'll be able to pre-register at Residentevil.net to obtain access to Revelations-themed content. Capcom will release new content with the game by using their site following your game's launch.

My USB flash memory is write protected

First try to see is there is any lock in your media device or adapter and see if its not locking that media..it looks like slide switch .for one end it will lock the media and when you switch to other side you have the full access
but if that's not the reason it might be the problem with registry
Use the Registry Hack to Disable Writing to USB Drives
Here is the link .just download the zip folder and after opening the folder you will find a file just double click on it..

Low feed backs hurt my ratings and I tried my level best to resolve the issue. so show your appreciation by rating it.
