I have an AEG Lavamat
You have a leak in the machine and water is accumulating in the base pan. Most likely this leak is a manufacturing issue or a transportation issue. Check to see where the leak is coming from under the machine. If in warranty call the dealer.
Lavamat 12843 no power
Maybe a bit late by now noting your question date.. If you have L & N from supply through suppressor to pcb it could be board u/s but well worth checking for low insulation on elements as oddly this can cause the display not to light!. If you don't have a suitable meter disconnect all wires to elements and see if it works.
Hole in plastic outer drum
I have plastic welded my son's hockey skate with an automotive bumper cover welder and surprisingly it has held up-its basicly like a soldiering iron with a dime size foot on it-it came with a universal welding sticks that have kevlar fibers in it-I would back up the repair area with 3m aluminum repair tape and fill in your hole-cheers Denyy

You will need to change the carbon brushes in the motor. Tip machine 45 deg backwards you might need someone to hold for you and look at motor underneath you will see 2 black carbon brushes remove these and replace if worn then retry machine also make sure the wires to the motor are ok.
