I'm so sorry but this forum is not able, nor in a position, to supply any type of manual, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)

You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hi i have the same problem code E20 what i did to resolve this matter was i popped down to my shed and got my trusted friend the sledge hammer i unpluged the machine and smashed the hell out of it and went and brought a new machine.........

Are you in UK using 220V AC or in USA using 120V AC?

Hi there, we too have a similar problem. Our new door handle part has arrived but we are having huge problems fitting it as we cant prise the grey outer trim off the door and thus can't get in to put the new door handle in.
Please help! How can we get the trim off without resorting to serious damage with a screwdriver!!!?

a little late to solve your problem...if it ever happens again, change the 16 micro farrad capacitor in the upper rear right corner of the machine. This capacitor controls the starting torque in any motor mode

There are a number of possible reasons. Try these options (listed in the order of easiest to hardest).

1. The machine is over filled. Try taking some items out then selecting the spin again.

2. The load is unbalanced. Try moving the items around then select the spin again.

3. Something is blocking the outlet. At the front of the machine (usually bottom right hand corner) there is a trap / filter. Remove and clean.

4. The outlet hose is could be obstructed. Check it is not bent / blocked.

5. The motor brushes could be worn. These are simple and cheap to replace for a DIY'er. Tip: You could remove the brushes then stretch the sping before refitting. This may give you enough life whilst waiting for replacements to arrive.

6. The pump may be blocked on the drum side. Find the hose that connects the drum to the pump and check it is not blocked.

If these don't work, try spinning at a lower speed (e.g., 700 or 900).

it is actually more complicated as each number above is further modified by pressing combinations of buttons. (see for example 4 above)

A valid point but unfortunately your machine is programmed to take both and will register this as a fault.
This is probably not what you wanted to hear but please dont shoot the messenger.

Further to your prob with washer, I would be inclined to think that there is a foreign object in the drum.Hopefully it will find it's way in to the pump filter.I don't think it will cause a problem

Sounds like the main drum bearings have gone, if you hold the the drum and can feel up and movement or it sounds noisy or rough when you turn it by hand then it is definately bearings gone.
Unless you know what you are doing ,I would not recommend a D.I.Y. repair.

Hi,
It could be that the motor needs new brushes (fairly cheap on ebay - and easy to do), or the motor run capacitor is faulty (lots of buzzing going on - but not much effort from motor), or it may be the motor or speed controller at fault.
Check the cheap bits first. ;-)

Probably the motor is broken. Or the tachometer is loose from the motor.

You need a new motor. ;)

The seal is mounted to the outertub with a big spring, an on the frint with a plastic ring. Not very easy.
