AEG Lavamat washing macine C9 error code

C9 is a motor fault. Normally it's worn out carbon brushes so you'll need to check them first. If worn out or broken, replace them. Then, you need to erase the code (reset the machine). To do this, turn the dial to off. Press and hold together, prewash and soaking buttons. While holding them, turn the dial 1 click anti clockwise. Release the buttons. Turn the dial to off, to any program and back to off. This should get rid of the C9 code. It will come back if you don't repair the motor fault.

Replace it and more likely it would Fix the Problem.Once you replace that, you need to put the machine into Service Mode to Reset the Error.

Steps for Reset the Error Code

1. Press and Hold the Prewash and Soaking Buttons Together.
2. Whilst Holding them, Turn the Dial from Off one Click Anti Clockwise

Note - If problem persists, Check the motor plug for broken wires and check the state of the carbon brushes.

White streaks on dark clothes after washing.

Reduce the load !!

You are getting white streaks because the clothes are so compressed the machine is not agitating them correctly.

My daughter gets the same problem and she still insists on packing the clothes in.

My wife washes the same clothes for her with the right load and they come out fine

Please help

your machine is draining too slowly. When it initiates a drain cycle, the water level switch is sensing the water level is still too high after 60 seconds so the computer1.gif stops and generates this fault code.

Here are the things to check;

* Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or inked.
* Check Wire Harness connectors to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
* Check/Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects
* Check for Drain Pump Failure
* Check the Inlet Valve for proper shut off
* Check the Pressure switch for proper operation

Hi my AEG OKO-LAVAMAT 88830

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

According to my list for AEG Lavamat washers, 'C3' stands for 3 possible causes 1 'safety flood device operated' (I suspect it means that it has sensed some water in the bottom tray. Not an easy job to do but I would check for a leak underneath), 2 'pump fault' and 3 'module fault'. Sorry I can not be of more help ;-0(

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

The wash cycle works, the pump wprks, but the spin

Hi.

If the switch trips off, that means that there is an abnormal power draw, which means a short. If the pump is humming you probably have a defective pump motor. The fact that brushes look OK does not exclude that the motor windings are internally shorting. Remove the pump and read Ohms on pump motor contacts. a shorted motor will read zero Ohms. The definitive test will be done by a tech energizing the motor directly (jumping it), then connecting power. That will probably trip the breaker, telling the tech that the motor must be replaced. For safety reasons I suggest only carrying tests that can be done with power off. After 15 years the pump is probably gone.

For general No-Spin issues, see this: If you have no spin...
In your case the situation is different, I think you have a defective pump motor. If problem is not the motor, then it is either wiring harness or timer (uncommon). In that case the breaker trips immediately before pump starting. Check also that problem is not main drive motor. It may be shorting when spin cycle starts. In that case the pump will drain before going to spin.

Regards.

C6 error on oko lavamat

Hi

C6 is a pressure sensor error and to solve it should be replaced. This sensor is located on the right side of the machine looking from the front, just behind the centre strut. After replacing the sensor you can reset the washer by holding the prewash and soak buttons and then turning the knob to gentle spin. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

The machine flashes C9

On washing machine displaying error code "C9" on its' display. Normally this indicates that there is a mechanical or electrical problem with the motor (often the brushes need to be replaced).
It could also be an over-sized load of clothes in the machine, try to reset the before beginning to replace parts.
The solution is to put the dial in the off position, then turn the dial to the spin position while holding down the soak and pre-wash buttons simultaneously.
The procedure above is also necessary to reset the washing machine after replacing any parts once the error condition has occurred.

Door will not open

typical problem for front load washer is that it stops when it comes to a rinse or spin cycle.there is something blocking the drain pump.in order to drain all the water out of the washer the best way is to use a wet dry shop vac.
attach the vaccum to the end of the drain hose and remove all the water.
once the water is removed the door should unlock.then you can access the drain pump from either the front or rear panel depending on the model you have.some models will have a access panel on the front to check to drain pump however if you do not see anything in the pump.
then the obstruction is in the part of the drain hose that leads from the bottom of the tub into the drain pump.if there is no obstruction found then you need to check the wiring and make sure it is securely attach.
last thing when all else fails replace the drain pump
