Where can i buy extra pot for ge 3 combo crockpot

In the manufacturing world most times they don't bother trying to stock parts like that. You just have to buy another used or new unit or buy another model

I need a lid for the ge double bowl 6qt slow

Believe or not, go to your local Goodwill Store! They have tons of crocks and the lids and the cookers separate frm each other that have been donated becase one of the pieces was broken and they donated the rest of the pieces. Lids and crocks typically range from $1.99 to $5.99 and you benefit your community at the same time.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. You can check this link for lid however, the lid itself is around $10 and the complete cooker is like $25 so you can check what you want to buy. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

The handle on the lid came off

I have heard of people Aralditeing the handle back on, with heatproof 2 pot epoxy, or similar. I have even heard of people making a new handle and attaching that via a nut and bolt.

I NEED TO BUY THE TWO INSERTS, CAN YOU TELL ME

Honestly, IF you could find them, they would likely cost more than replacing the pot. However as these pots have been recalled, it is highly unlikely that you will find any to buy.

If you are adamant about finding replacements inserts, your best bet will be garage sales and flea markets. Again, as they have been recalled, that may not be the safest thing to do.

I have a GE 168945 crock pot (walmart) and the lid

Please stop using your crock pot and throw it away!! I had one just like this and the heating element melted the bottom of the plastic base and nearly caught on fire on 02Nov2009. The only reason our home is still not a pile of burnt rubble is because my husband was standing next to it when it began smoking.

Seems there is a recall on this product and you may be able to return it to Walmart. Check the web for verification.

6 qt. slow cooker.

FYI, the recall is not for the 169143 model:

"The recalled slow cookers include the 4.5-Quart Oval and 6-Quart Double Dish models sold under the General Electric (GE) brand name. The model name is printed on the front of the units. The 4.5-quart unit has model number 106661 and the 6-quart unit has model number 106851. Both models have series codes A through D, which are printed on the bottom along with the model number. The base of the slow cookers is white with an olive or honeysuckle graphic."

I too, have the 169143 model. In fact, I just received it for Christmas. I loaned it out and the glass lid broke. I just got off the phone with the division of GE that handles the Walmart products (these slow cookers were made specifically for Walmart), and unfortunately, we are out of luck. You cannot get replacement parts (including lids) for the slow cookers made exclusively for Walmart. The only option is to buy a whole new slow cooker. Grrrr! So much for a 3-month old slow cooker that is now useless. If it was any other shape than rectangle I would just retrofit with a different brand lid, but those rectangular ones are near impossible to find.
