Where I can buy the motor of a 24 hour dial time

I had an old Intermatic TN111 indoor timer with the red & green trippers laying around. I just drilled out the plastic plugs holding it together and popped out the timer motor. The timer motor is mechanically identical to the Malibu pool/lighting timer whose timer motor died.. As a bonus you get a spare load switch in case that ever fails. This works for 125VAC timers but not for 230VAC though if you have access to split phase you can run the motor off of 120 VAC and the load off of the 240 VAC

How to wire intermatic t104 for 120v line and load

it won't work, it would if you had the guts from a 120 volt timer to put in, thats just not practical cuz you would have to get the right timer and at that time you might as well just replace the one your trying to rig up

My t1004r timer does not

If manual override works, then timer is basically sound.

1) If dial does not rotate, then replace clock motor: T104 timer uses 240Volt clock motor. T101 and T103 use 125Volt clock motor

2) If dial rotates, but trippers are missing or trippers are worn down and no longer click on-off lever, then buy new trippers.
T100 series trippers and clocks are shown following link:
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/timer-accessories/timers/electrical/ecatalog/N-8hi

3) If you have different timer than T101-103-104, then add a comment.

4) Clock motors are located on back of mechanism.
Mechanism snaps out with thumb spring located top inside box.
Clocks have identifying numbers: google search for that clock number if different that shown above.

5) If you buy new timer, then specify T104R.
R suffix is for raintight box.

Clock does not work but load does

really need more info. but assuming that ur turn it by hand to turn it on and off, it sounds as tho u have no power on the clock or the clock is bad. is it new? is it old and the clock quit, or new and the clock doesn't work? in this case may not have power to clock.

How to tell differance between 110 volts and 220 volts

u have to use a volt meter to find out for sure. if ur asking how to check it, u find the leads coming into it and take ur volt meter leads and if u have colored wires coming into it like black, red, white, green or bare which is ground. u check the volts by checking the volts 1st on ea of the colors. u should have 120 volts from ea color to ground, then u check volts between the colors. put ur leads to the red, black at the same time and u should have 240 volts. the colors may be black, white, and bare or ground. in this case treat the blk, and white as black and red.

Dimmer switch buzzing and lights won't stay lit

Check the rating of the dimmer switch. It is more than likely a 600-watt dimmer. Either way you should replace the dimmer switch with a 1000-watt rated dimmer switch.

Proper wiring for 220 volts

You posted under T104 timer.
Open following links for wiring information and diagrams.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/B220C.html

You say 220Volts and I use 240Volts = same thing
T104 is 240Volt timer with 240V WG1573 clock motor
240Volt cable has two hot wires that arrive from breaker box. These wires connect to terminals 1 and 3.
240Volt cable going to Load has two wires. These wires connect to terminals 2 and 4.
Bare ground wire connects to green screw.

If your timer has terminal A, then terminal A is not used unless you are converting timer for 277Volt operation, or some other specific wiring purpose, or if your 240Volt cable from breaker box also has a Neutral wire, in which case the Neutral connects to terminal A.

If you have different brand timer, or different model number, then add a comment with model number that shows inside timer door, and I will search for wiring diagram.

T104 intermatic was replaced but will not turn on

Your wiring is incorrect -or- wire is not under the screw plate correctly -or- the 240Volt breaker is tripped on one leg.Make sure that copper wire is under screw plate, and that no insulation is under plate keeping wire from making contact.Open following link to double-check wiring:http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gene_9f0ef4df2f9897e7
