Barbara....I understand -- I panicked to day when I couldn't find my CROCK-POT recipe book for my Chicken Cacciatore recipe. I think I have that same recipe book -- my CROCK-POT is avocado green. Tthere are two recipes for spaghetti, but I'm assuming that you want the "Italian Meat Sauce" recipe. If not, let me know and I'll send the other one.

Crock Pot Italian Meat Sauce

1 cup chopped onions
1 – 1 ½ pounds ground chuck, browned
2 cloves garlic
1 large can tomatoes (28 oz)
1 6-oz can tomato paste
2 stalks celery with tops, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons dried oregano
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
1 bay leaf
Put all ingredients in CROCK-POT. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on Low for 10 to 12 hours. (High: 3 to 5 hours).

I'm guessing the 3150 is slightly different probably only in colour and manual would be ok to use for both i have 3 crock pots different sizes and makes, all virtually the same in terms of use and care so unless its a new fancy progammable one with a clock and timer i wouldn't worry too much

you can remove the other two just put a hot pad or something else under it so your counter don't get burn.

I need a lid for #3150/2; all the rest works great! I'm sad the lid broke (I've had this for 28 years). If I can't find a lid, I'll sell the liner and working outer part for $10 plus the cost of shipping it to you. Let me know at [email protected]. I just made the best 'garbage' soup ever (all the leftovers including steak, gravy, broth, potatoes, green beans, chopped grape tomatoes). This thing works great!

Hello julia...no do not use it in the oven. The components are not all designed to withstand the oven heat and you will ruin your crock pot. Joe

According to my 1982 Rival Slow Cooker manual, a bake pan and a meat rack were once sold for Model 3150. Hope this helps!

Don't know the anser, but should not matter. The cooking surface of the pot is glazed. Lead (if present) will not leach in.

I assume you meant lid. Believe or not, go to your local Goodwill Store! They have tons of crocks and the lids and the cookers separate frm each other that have been donated becase one of the pieces was broken and they donated the rest of the pieces. Lids and crocks typically range from $1.99 to $5.99 and you benefit your community at the same time.

Well I haven't found when that model was made but here's some history naxon started the cooker and Rival bought them out in 1970 and reintroduced the cooker under the name crockpot in 1971 so if its a rival it cant be more than 40yrs. old. Good luck on finding when that model was made.
